a revival of this dormant concept, the songs come alive from a subconscious state. ana as the stand, they stand as such.
white rabbit, the ultimate intro (though through the looking glass, it offers to be the closer on the other end). still using the jefferson airplane lyrics with some new ones which dr. leopold wrote, quite good, and this brings up the latest sentiment among the mutliform cabinet which is to rewrite and or alter any of the lyrics which may be copywritten, especially with reference to (I am) the walrus. the walrus and the carpenter are still a bit foggey, I always seem to mix the verses up, must be something in the tea.
on any account, new lyrics are bound to be based in more wonderland type subject matter, and within the references found in the songs themselves, i.e. hari krishna & edgar allen poe. the eggman is humpty (&the walrus is not actually paul, though he may have thought he was at the time) and this easter morning I had the good favor of playing the humpty dump (which blends, humpty dumpty, the egg man, and the humpty dance with added freestyle & my own brand of funk jazz flair) in a bunk room where folks stuffed easter eggs, and couples got sweet on the sexier connotations on the word "hump". and as the book tells us, humpty's purpose is to explain all those difficult words to us which we may not have remembered from our vocabulary lesson. such are the beastiary of the jabberwocky which lie within this easter egg. as the story goes, the jabberwocky is the last song leading us right up to the mirror rim, looking back at it's own reversal. but something else waits for all tomorrows parties.
